Senator, MP at odds over Moffat Farm plan: MP Harb's response to NCC development 'unsatisfactory,' Senator Cools says
Liberal Senator Anne Cools criticized Ottawa Centre MP Mac Harb yesterday for paying too little attention to constituents opposed to construction on Moffatt Farm.
"I've chatted with Mac Harb about this a number of times, and I've found our discussions quite unsatisfactory," said Ms. Cools, who represents Toronto in the Senate and keeps an Ottawa home in Carleton Heights.
Her neighbours are fighting a National Capital Commission attempt to get Moffatt Farm, which lies fallow as an "unmanicured" park, rezoned for construction.
